The river Nedzingis (the river Merkys tributary, Varena district)

The river Nedzingis (Nedingis, Amarnia) flows in Alytus county, Varena district, the river Merkys right tributary.

Length of the river 22 km, the basin area 153 km ². The source at Rakatanskai village, 6 km southwest from Daugai town. Flows to south through the lakes Rakatanskai and Nedzingis. Flows into the river Sventoji 30 km from its mouth, 2 km southwest from Perloja town. Average gradient 202 cm/km. Average rated discharge downstream the lake Nedzingis 0.50 m³/s, at the mouth 1.06 m³/s.
